The film "Fight Club", with its critique of 10s American mass consumerism and its effect on the countrys majority of movie-going audiences should be considered a controversial film. A film of such immediacy and power would, in any other time or society, most likely have incited some form of public response. But it didnt. Not to my knowledge. Therefore, the most important question "Fight Club" is that in a society considerably tolerant of controversy, is it still possible to be controversial? When rebellion becomes mainstream, what is there left to rebel against? With these questions, the nihilistic virtues of "Fight Club" are revealed.

A possibility is that "Fight Club" is really not about revolution at all - but the impossibility of it. The films criticism does not stop at corporations or media - but even goes so far to criticize any organizations seeking to react against them. In this case, the films "Project Mayhem", which seemingly begins as disorganized chaos, anarchy, descends into men wearing identical clothing and chanting in unison the termination of individualism that is one of the key attributes of any revolution, be it fascism, communism, whatever. The argument of the film is that individualism as it is sold to us is not individualism at all, but a carefully crafted homogenization of the self, which serves only to benefit the powers that be. You can choose Apple Jacks or Lucky Charms. Theres your freedom. So instead of reacting against this by seeking true individualism, the film accepts that any notion of true individualism is false. So what does that leave one to rebel against? Nihilism, "a doctrine holding that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated", fits in nicely here. "Fight Club" aims at the idea that the values held by those in power and those wishing to rebel against them are worthless, and is hence nihilistic.

Tyler Durden's initiation of the narrator gives us an example by which Tyler initiates the rest of his army. As a means of living, Tyler steals fat from liposuction to make soap to sell women "their fat asses back to them", as the narrator puts it. Pouring lye, a chemical needed to make soap, on the narrators hand, causing it to burn, provides the narrator with the appropriate pain and fear of death by which Tyler, in essence, deconstructs his individualism "Our fathers were our models for God. If our fathers bailed, what does that tell you about God?" Tylers argument is that God hates man. "We dont need him" he tells the narrator. "We are God's unwanted children. Its only after we have lost everything that we are free to do anything," he tells the narrator. As nihilistic as it comes, Tyler Durden laid out his philosophy.

Tyler Durden is what some would consider an anarchist. He is distrustful of the status quo, and hides himself from it in a dilapidated building in a warehouse district, with none of the comforts of the materialistic lifestyle that the narrator was so dependent on (and choked by) at the beginning of the film. As part of his anarchist tendencies, Tyler was taken to inserting single frames of pornographic films into family movies while working as a projectionist. Tyler's "civil disobediences" become the central idea behind the Fight Club as it transforms from therapy group to guerilla army. The narrator begins to crumble he refers to himself, inspired by magazines left by the previous owner of Tyler's house, as "Jack" "I am Jack's raging bile-duct", "I am Jack's cold sweat"; as if the narrator's interaction with Tyler is beginning to disassemble any prior idea he had of the individual self. This is exactly Tyler's motivation for assembling his army, "Project Mayhem". For Tyler, modern man has "no purpose or place". He has "no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives". Durden goes on to say "We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars, but we won't. And we're beginning to realize that. And we're very, very pissed off". Tyler's means of indoctrinating his army is classical in its outlook humiliation into submission, the eradication of the self. "You are not special" Tyler tells his army. "You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying matter as anything else." Nihilism to the core. Durden brought the idea of nothingness to his army, that they should follow him because they are worthless, and they should let everyone else know that they're worthless too!

"Fight Club" is a film that both succeeds and fails at what it attempts. Perhaps its failure is due in part to the (intentional?) ambiguity of its message. That its criticism raised no controversy is frighteningly indicative of the levels of cynicism that plague movie-going audiences in the United States today. Although perhaps the film's failures may be its strengths in its inability to side with either the status quo or with those who wish to overturn it, the film may be implying that which its narrator states earlier in the film that losing all hope is freedom.

It is not the American policy to be the aggressors. We should not be the aggressors. How is this going to prevent future terrorist attacks? The Bush administration is only provoking future terrorists to be born around the globe. Eliminating Saddam Hussein is not the answer to end terrorism but just a reason to fuel Anti-American resentment. We will have the terrible reputation of worldwide bullies. Who has more to gain from all of this? It is US. We will have a growth in our economy from the oil in Iraq. The Wall Street Journal recently noted" With oil reserves second only to Saudi Arabias, Iraq would offer the oil industry enormous opportunity should a war topple Saddam Hussein. But the early spoils would probably go to companies needed to keep Iraqs already rundown oil operation running, especially if facilities were further damaged in a war. Oil-services firms such as Halliburton Co., where Vice President Dick Cheney formerly served as chief executive and Schlumberger Ltd. are seen as favorites for what could be as much as $1.5 billion in contracts. Yes oil, seems part of the reason for war but it's not the entire reason.

We will have won an American protectorate, which is another word for a colony. I just saw an American soldier place the American flag. If it is not colonialism, it is invasion. Our country fought in the American Revolution to stop the act of colonialism from Britain. Yet 7 years later, here we are, doing the same thing that our oppressors were doing to us.

We say we are in Iraq to liberate the people from this evil dictator. Although the media has shown some Iraqi people congratulate and welcome troops, I want people to notice how many people congratulated us. Probably around 0 people---0 out of million people who occupy Iraq. I also want to know why the sudden interest in Hussein? Why now? Why not Fidel Castro who also is torturing his people? Why not North Korea? Furthermore, we cannot establish a government of democracy in a nation that we simply do not understand. They are not America. They are Iraq. The Iraqi people have done nothing to us. The people of the United States should be aware of the terrorism we have caused over there that the media has intentionally hidden from us. 40% of Americans are led to believe that Saddam Hussein is linked to the Al Queda terrorists that were PROVEN to behind 11. More Americans should be aware of this popular MISCONCEPTION and should stop using this as the excuse for going to war. Instead of clarifying that dangerous misconception, the government continues to reinforce it because they would gain support. There is no proof of Husseins involvement. The rest of the world has seen that... why cant Bush and his administration?? The United Nations did not even see any compelling evidence or clear objective good enough to go to war. How can the president defy their authority and their approval? We are disrespecting diplomacy and other countries. Now, the U.S, NO NOT THE U.S, I mean BUSH AND HIS ADMINISTRATION stands alone. The entire world is protesting because they are smart enough to see that nothing good will result of this. I just want to say to our follow brothers and sisters around the nation, that we, the Anti-War protesters, are not anything less than a patriot for opposing the war. One thing is clear, that we support the troops over in Iraq. They are one of the few brave people left in the world, and their deaths shall be honored. However, I do not support the reason for their death. Bush had clearly said You are either with us, or you are our enemies. How dare he deny the patriotism of more than half of the United States population? The only thing that distinguishes Bush from Hitler and his Nazis is Freedom of Speech. We are thankful for living in a country in which we can say that WAR IS WRONG. Freedom of Speech is what our country was founded on. So how can we be unpatriotic? We just oppose the Bushs Manichaean view of the world. I want to know how many sons or relatives does he have serving the country. I also want to know how much loved ones does some of the Pro-War Republicans have fighting in the war. I just hope that casualties are left to a minimum. I fear mostly for the aftermath that Bush has neglected to mention in any of his redundant State of the Union Addresses. I fear that the aftermath is much more frightening than the war itself. I also want to say that I still wear my American flag with pride and that I love this country. It is that LOVE for my country that motivates me to protest. I am defending the precious name of the United States of America from being tainted. I leave people with questions that have been failed to be answered. They are questions that I read recently in a New York Times editorial.

Are American ready to pay the cost in lives and dollars of a long-term military occupation of Iraq? to what end?

The Causes of The Cold War

Many young historians ask themselves how did the Cold War start? I for one am wondering. But, I suppose the answer to that is quite simple, not straight foreword, but simple.

The steps leading up to the Cold War are not as quite as chronological as they were in WW, when Hitler broke the Treaty Of Versailles, however, the pieces of the puzzle do fit together, and they do make a complete picture.

In 14 and 145 two conferences were held between President Roosevelt of USA, Prime Minister Churchill of Britain and Stalin of USSR, currently known as Russia.

Cheap custom writing service can write essays on the causes of the cold war

The first conference was held at Teheran in Persia (14), planning to defeat Germany. The second conference was held just after the defeat of Germany at Yalta in the Crimea (145). There, the three leaders decided to split Germany four ways, with each bit being controlled by France, Russia, USA or Britain.

Before the Potsdam conference in 145 many changes took place. For one, Roosevelt died so his vice, Harry Truman replaced him. Also Churchill lost the election back home so Attlee was voted in as Prime Minister.

The Allies were growing more suspicious of each other. Stalin wanted complete control over Eastern Europe, therefore despising his approval of the free elections of Eastern Europe. Attlee and Truman suspected this. Furthermore, Stalin had the idea that because Attlee and Truman were new to the job, they would be weak leaders.

In August 145 at the Potsdam conference, three main decisions were approved of; new boundaries of Poland was agreed; Berlin as well as Germany had been divided now; and finally Surviving Nazi Leaders were allowed to have legal trials at Nuremberg for war crimes.

Tension was starting to build up between the USA and the USSR. This was because Stalin was determined to force communism throughout Eastern European countries. This, and the fact that USA deliberately did not tell the USSR about the development and use of the atom bomb on Japan, made each of then suspicious of each other.

Now that Stalin wanted Communism throughout Eastern Europe, he used the theory, 'Domino Theory' (which stated that when communism took over one country, the neighbouring countries were next in line to be threatened. Without help from USA, the non-communist governments could topple over, one after the other, like a line of dominoes) to help him. USA was afraid that communism might spread of all over Europe. President Truman was determined to halt the increase of it. As a result of his determination 'The Iron Curtain' was put up to separate the communist side (East) from the Capitalist side (West).

Along side 'The Iron Curtain' in 147 'Containment' was the US policy of preventing further spread of communism. It involved creating a network of anti-communist allies and sending military and economic aid to the USA's friends; the Truman Doctrine was created; this was a promise that the USA would help any country threatened by a communist take over. The Marshall plan was also set up; this promised American aid to European countries to help rebuild their damaged economies.

Even after these four measures of preventions had been set up, communism and capitalism still remained in conflict. This was one of the main causes of the Cold War.

In 148 the western allies agreed to a single government in their zones of Berlin and a new currency to help economic recovery. However the Soviet Union disagreed and was opposed to these moves since Stalin wanted to keep Germany as weak as possible. As Germany was on the side of Eastern Europe, it was controlled by the USSR. This meant Stalin could give orders that all land communication between West Berlin and the outside world should be cut off. This was known as the Blockade.

Over the year, the only way for West Berlin to obtain supplies from the outside world was by air. By 14 eight thousand tonnes of supplies were being flown into West Berlin every day. The Berlin Airlift was expensive and difficult but it worked. The people of West Berlin refused to communicate with the communist East Berlin and the Russians realised that, to interfere with the Airlift was likely to cause another war. Then finally in May 14 Russia re-opened land links.

The Berlin airlift caused the division of Germany into two parts. The Soviet zone became the German Democratic Republic (DDR) and the Western zone formed the German Federal Republic (FDR).

As you can see so far, the main causes that triggered the Cold War were the iron curtain separating capitalism from communism and also the role of the Berlin airlift had caused disruptions.

The Cold War was completely based on forming alliances and making plans for the future of Europe. There was no fighting with arms only the threat. This must have been because both sides had atomic weapons and hydrogen bombs. This made them afraid to attack each other as they might wipe out the nations of the world.

English Essay Task 'A man for all seasons'

By Bernard Fung

Prompt Sir Thomas More may have an adamantine sense of his own self, but he is clearly a naïve individual who underestimates his enemies. He places too much faith in the law, and ultimately betrays his family, his country and his monarch. Do you agree?

Sir Thomas More may have an 'adamantine sense of his own self', but he is clearly a naïve individual who placed too much faith in the law, and underestimated his enemies. As his belief of his own self was tested, More put aside his family, his country, and his monarch, ultimately betraying them.

Being the top lawyer in the country, More had a complex understanding of the machinery that operates the law. His outstanding belief in the law being a 'causeway upon which so long as he keeps to it' he may 'walk safely' dictated to him that he had done nothing wrong in keeping silent, for 'silence gives consent'. 'In the thickets of law', More was a forester, and this confidence backed up the previous argument of silence. His naivety in believing the law is also expressed in his conversation with Alice. He refers to his silence as a 'lifeline' which he didn't 'have to use, but it was comforting to have'.

More's silence over the King's divorce had branded him a traitor, but infact his belief in God had overridden the King. A central theme in 'A man for all seasons', Chapuys states that 'no man can work for two masters'. Remove More's understanding of the intricate processes of law, his status and wealth, all that remains is this 'adamantine sense of his own self', which in essence, is Thomas More's flame to uphold the practice of the Church. He explains to Norfolk that '…God is love right through, Howard, and that's myself'.

Unable to comprehend her own husband's thought and actions, Alice questions More's mysterious thoughts on the divorce. More's comforting statement that 'when they find I'm silent, they'll ask nothing better than to leave me silent' quells her anxiety, but he places them second along his belief, thus betraying them. The only person who could understand and More was Meg, for she had 'long known the secrets of his heart'.

The promise of the world at hand, More does not once fold under the pressure, and in return, his belief of himself is buried alongside his grave. Second to his belief, his daughter Meg desperately tries to persuade him to give in, but to no avail. Her four main arguments are brushed aside, and he teaches her a final lesson that 'when a man takes an oath, he's holding his own self in his own hands, like water. And if he opens his fingers, then he need'nt hope to find himself again'. Willing to sacrifice everything on earth for entry into heaven is all that matters to More.

Having opposed the King of England, betrayed his country, and leaving his family to struggle, this naïve man called Sir Thomas More tested his own belief and not once changed his position. This position was what gave him the title of a traitor and landed his head into a gruesome basket at the tower of England, but his legacy of integrity continues.

In her essay "Teachers' Classroom Strategies Should Recognize That Men and Women Use Language Differently," Deborah Tannen uses the subject of gender to reveal the differences between male and female conversational styles in classroom discussions. Tannen talks about how women tend to contribute less to hostile or debate-like conversations. On the contrary, men debate more in class because the conversational style reflects their own.

Tannen observes the classroom situation, the topic of debate and its format, and men and women's attitudes toward that topic. First, she explains that as females mature, they use the language to communicate with friends, to whisper and tell secrets. Tannen says that the "telling of secrets, the fact and the way they talk to each other, that makes them best friends" (Reid 8). She states that males are often more comfortable than females when publicly speaking. They tend to gather and communicate in larger groups related to the activities in which they participate. Tannen declares that men are "expected to use language to seize center stage by exhibiting their skill, displaying their knowledge, and challenging and resisting challenge" (Reid 8). Men are more comfortable speaking in large groups of people rather than small groups of people they know well.

Next, Tannen explains how men are more comfortable and familiar with the debate format of conversation than women. She states that "women are more likely to resist discussion they perceive as hostile…they don't ritualize opposition" (Reid 84). Women do not often quarrel for amusement as most men do. Tannen also talks about how the amount of conversation from women depends on the topic of debate.

Tannen also describes the experiment she performed in her classroom. She permitted the students to analyze their own conversations in randomly selected groups of people. This gave the introverted students the opportunity to interact and discuss their point of view without embarrassment or being uncomfortable. She was able to conclude that small-group interaction is vital to any debate class.

Although Tannen thoroughly demonstrates her knowledge of the conversational styles of men and women in the classroom, this essay is unfocused, disorganized, and uncorroborated. The main idea is clear at the beginning but begins to fade away as the article progresses. The disorganization of this essay causes the reader to wander off and lose track of the main idea. Her examples are not supported with clear, factual evidence.

Other points made throughout the essay minimize the main point of Tannen's article. Despite the fact that her essay discusses the distinction of gender in debates, Tannen spends four pages describing the experiment she conducted in her classroom. The experiment was divided into three different groups based on "the degree program they were in, gender, and conversational style" (Reid 86). The experiment is interesting, but the focus on the language and cultural differences in the experiment diminished the underlying focus. Tannen neglects to mention gender with respect to the issue. In addition to the experiment, her discussion with her colleagues distracts the reader and causes the reader to become sidetracked. Usually, essay conclusions emphasize the thesis and main idea, but Tannen's conclusion drifts quite a bit from the purpose of the essay.

Tannen's article is quite disorganized. At first her discussion is about conversational styles, which reveals what should be the topic of the paper. Then, she discusses about her conversation with her colleagues. Finally, she describes her classroom experiment. This structure jumps from topic to topic, leading the reader astray from the main idea. The disorganized format of her essay is revealed through her examples and supporting evidence of her assertions.

Though Tannen has a wide knowledge of the subject, she makes numerous statements, assumptions, and generalizations that are not supported with sufficient evidence. For example, Tannen assumes the reader has experienced or participated in a classroom debate. Also, she bases her assumptions on her classroom experience only, not that of other teachers. When Tannen does support her declarations, her evidence is unconvincing, vague, or too general. Her anecdotal evidence is tediously repetitive. In addition, Tannen's conversations with her contemporaries provide examples but fail to thoroughly support her claims.

In her article "Teachers' Classroom Strategies Should Recognize That Men and Women Use Language Differently," Tannen attempts to use her knowledgeable linguistic research to describe the different conversational styles between males and females. Not only is her essay disorganized but it also strays from the main idea and fails to provide persuasive evidence enough to support her thesis.

BREASTFEEDING IN PUBLIC

Women should have the right to breastfeed in public places without feeling intimidated or embarrassed for doing so. Breastfeeding in public is one of the most controversial issues in society today. An issue which is completely misunderstood as a disrespectful act of indecent exposure, when infact it is the most natural thing in the world. Women should have the right to breastfeed in public whenever they feel it is necessary. Breastfeeding is a healthy act for both mother and child for their well being. However the way in which a nursing mother conducts herself in public can alter the act of breastfeeding from a natural necessity to being viewed as a controversial obscenity.

Breastfeeding is a precious bond shared between mother and child. It is appalling that many public places in our modern day Australia still discriminate against women breastfeeding in public. In some cases women are even asked to leave the premises because they are breastfeeding. For example a recent survey showed that the majority of Australian restaurants and shopping centres were found to be unsupportive of nursing mothers, disapproving towards breastfeeding as they thought their customers would be offended and pushed away as they would feel uncomfortable. Which seems ridiculous due to the fact that breastfeeding in public is not in anyway illegal yet is viewed as an obscenity. How can breastfeeding be an obscenity?

Exposed breasts are everywhere, all over the media in movies, magazines even in television. But put a nursing infant anywhere near those breasts and suddenly people are offended. Do people ask women to cover up during breastfeeding or to move some place more private because the person is perhaps sexualising the act of breastfeeding rather than view it as a natural, nurturing act? For to long now women have been made to feel embarrassed for feeding their child. It is quite disturbing that in this day and age mothers are being prevented from doing what is natural. For those who are that uncomfortable-turn away!

Help with essay on Breastfeedind Women

One argument is that some women infact overexpose themselves whilst breastfeeding therefore it is understandable that some people may feel embarrassed or offended by this. Secondly some women choose to feed their child up to an age where the majority feel is unacceptable, for example a toddler who beckons to his mother to be fed on the breast could be seen as offensive. By the use of the modern breastfeeding bras now available and the simple act of draping a baby blanket or shawl over the shoulder all breastfeeding can be done in a discrete manner, whether or not the mother is in public. Respect is a two way process. A bit of discretion on the side of the nursing mother would promote more support from the general public.

It is a known fact that nursing mothers should feed their child in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The introduction of more private rooms for nursing mothers in todays society would surely create a more harmonious relationship between the offended public, on the street and also in the workplace. But at what cost? Why should the mother feel she should be segregated from everyday life? Not only as she had to endure the huge life changing effects of motherhood but now she deemed as an unwelcome presence purely because she wants to the provide her child with the best source of nutrience mother nature has to offer. It has been proven that without doubt breast milk is by far the only best source of food for baby and not only provides every essential nutrient for the infant but will protect both mother and baby against most harmful diseases.

In addition to strengthening the bond between mothers and their babies, breastfeeding offers several significant health benefits. Babies who are breastfed have lower rates of meningitis, childhood leukemia, and other cancers, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, bacterial and viral infections, diarrheal illnesses, allergies and obesity. For these reasons the American Academy of Paediatrics recommends that breastfeeding continue for at least 1 months. This at least 1 months out of a womans life she must be dedicated to provide food whenever and wherever her baby dictates. Breastfeeding offers health benefits to nursing mothers also which include the reduced risks of breast cancer and other types of cancers, as well as osteoporosis.

As a society we must support the mothers of our country who are contributing to the well being of our nation by breastfeeding. By being more accepting of the perfectly natural act of feeding, which is no different from that which we have accepted in the animal kingdom surely tolerance and common sense will prevail and the rights of the breastfeeding mother will be recognised.

Gulliver's Travels The British Satire of Society

Gulliver's Travels, by Jonathan Swift, is an exceptional example of the attempts writers have made to bring about social reform. Jonathan Swift's stories of Lilliput and Brobdinag are placed on two extremities of culture, putting human frailty up to ridicule. Through the unassuming eyes of Gulliver, the astute reader can pick up on ideas used to delineate the troubles of British law and society. To accomplish his task, Swift threads throughout his novel creative imagery, allusion, and symbolism.

Imagery is applied in Gulliver's Travels very carefully to capture the reader's attention and play on the absurdity of the situation Gulliver finds himself in. Gulliver is in a different world, a land of beings only one inch tall and the sights, feelings, and sounds of the Lillipution's daily life is shown to be a true microcosm of British life. Swift writes,"I heard one of them cry Tolgo phonac; when in an instant I felt above an hundred arrows discharged on my left hand...they shot another flight into the air, as we do bombs in Europe."(Swift 48) Immediately, it is clear that the Lilliputions have taken on the warlike tendencies of the British imperialist. The language of Lilliput, even though it is presented as merely gibberish, has a clear military purpose like the English word fire or charge. The result of the efforts of these creatures, however, is of little circumstance to Gulliver who could conceivably "be a match for the greatest armies they could bring." (48) Like the kingdom of Lilliput, Brobdingnag also mirrors Britain, only the imagery makes the setting much more dangerous. Here a single fly is a huge disturbance that can drive a person mad. "They would sometimes alight upon my victuals, and leave their

loathsome excrement or spawn behind, which to me was very visible...Sometimes they

would fix upon my nose or forehead, where they stung me to the quick, smelling very

offensively." In a world where everything is amplified, it is hard to imagine how the most

trivial of matters is suddenly a significant force to be dealt with. Swift makes his

protagonist feel exactly the same way the Lilliputions must have felt when Gulliver could

have capriciously crushed them. This stark contrast in settings serves as a learning

experience for both Gulliver and the reader.

Gulliver's Travels has gained its label as a masterpiece because of its ability to

parallel humanity or allude to its historical shortcomings. The Lillliputian government

officials for example are chosen by their skill at rope-dancing, which the Lilliputians see as

relevant but which Gulliver recognizes as ridiculous. The representatives are literally

forced to jump through hoops in order to qualify for their positions. Swift means for us to

understand this event as a satire of Englands system of political appointments. Gulliver is

in the same way forced to defend his society in the land of Brobdingnag . In the giant's

view, Britain is a warlike nation filled with unsurpassed corruption. Gulliver manages to

maintain some sense of value in his native country in the face of the kings criticisms, but

his disputes seem so transparently groundless that each argument he gives for Englands

superiority serves only to emphasize the futility of his resistance. The kings assessment of

the Europeans as "odious vermin" is left virtually untouched.

The main way that Jonathan Swift perpetuates its message is through the use of

elaborate symbolism. Gulliver's size and strength is the largest of the symbols in Swift's

Gulliver's Travels. His physical bearing and power put Gulliver in a unique position in

Lilliputian society and give him obligations and capabilities far beyond those of the people

who keep him prisoner. The extreme power Gulliver encompasses can represent Englands

position with respect to the people it was in the process of colonizing. Like Gulliver,

England had the power to squash its foes with a single fist, but it also took a great deal to

restrain from doing great harm as Gulliver does. Size is also a symbol with respect to the

moral leanings of the Brobdingnagians and Liliputians. The Brobdingnagians are humans

who have achieved a massive level of moral achievement unlike the trivial and miniscule

Lilliputians, in whom the human vices of pride and self-righteousness are exaggerated.

The Brobdingnagians have constructed a society in which those sins are curtailed as

much as possible and they are not, as they are in England, set in the foundation of

government.

The teachings of Jonathan Swift are echoed forcefully in his novel Gulliver's

Travels. Through the use of imagery, allusion, and symbolism writers have been able to

mold public opinion and make the democracy the most desirable government of the

modern world. Perhaps Swift was the spark for the burning flame of justice toady.
